For 5 dollars each you can buy:
little bottles of mamajuana or Brugal, small packs of real Dominican coffee, larimar earrings or pendants etc.
In several big supermarkets like La Sirena you can by Dominican souvenirs for very little money. Have a look!

I think the small packets of Dominican coffee makes a good stocking stuffer along with the vanilla. Larimar pendants are nice too. I like the carved wooded lizards too.

The local paintings and wood sculptures are nice. Otherwise just bring a jar of that mumbawana drink additive.
